1. Who We Are

MoneyDance Import Assistant is developed and published by Nian Shou Apps, a sole-proprietor indie developer based in Singapore. Questions about this policy may be directed to the contact address at the end of this document.

2. Data We Collect

MoneyDance Import Assistant collects no personal data on behalf of Nian Shou Apps. Specifically:

• We operate no analytics services, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies.
• We do not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, IP address, financial information, or usage statistics.
• We do not track your behaviour across other apps or websites.

3. Data Stored on Your Mac

MoneyDance Import Assistant processes supported credit card statement CSV files and generates MoneyDance-compatible CSV files. All imported statements, merchant rules, category mappings, and application data are stored locally on your Mac using Apple's native macOS storage technologies.

This data is private to you. Nian Shou Apps has no access to your imported statements, merchant rules, MoneyDance categories, or exported CSV files.

4. Financial Data

Your financial data never leaves your Mac as part of the app's normal operation. The app does not upload imported statements, exported CSV files, transaction descriptions, merchant rules, or category mappings to Nian Shou Apps or to any external server.

5. Exported Files

Exported MoneyDance-compatible CSV files are saved only to the location you choose. These files remain under your control. Deleting the app does not automatically remove exported CSV files that you have saved outside the app container.

6. Internet Access

MoneyDance Import Assistant does not require an internet connection for its core functionality. The app may include links to external websites, such as this Privacy Policy or support resources. Opening those links may share your IP address and standard request headers with the destination website, which is governed by that website's own privacy policy.

7. Third-Party Services

MoneyDance Import Assistant uses no third-party SDKs, frameworks, analytics services, advertising networks, social login services, or crash-reporting services. The app relies only on Apple's standard macOS frameworks.

8. Children's Privacy

MoneyDance Import Assistant is a general-purpose financial utility. It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data from any user, no special handling for children is required beyond this statement.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Your application data remains on your Mac until you delete it. Removing the app may remove locally stored application data, depending on how macOS manages the app container. Exported CSV files remain wherever you chose to save them.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes materially, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
